Using an Anti-Fatigue AFS-TEX^® Active Sit-Stand Platform increases Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis (NEAT) movements. These are the small movements you make during the day which are not deemed as exercise; things like taking the stairs instead of using the elevator. NEAT movements increase total movement and build up over time to improve metabolism and burn more calories. This active mat increases this movement through a combination of soft and supportive deep mat padding, an undulating ‘not-flat’ surface which encourages you to shift your stance. Whether sitting or standing, the raised sides of this active mat encourage calf stretching and the unique massage balls helps massage the soles of your feet by enabling back-and-forth, side-to-side or a full-circle rotating movements.
